Our Story
Michael and John were introduced in 2000 when
John was moving his family from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Bozeman, Montana. At
the time John was taking a position as the Director of Marketing for a local
gift manufacturer and distributor there in Bozeman. John and his wife
enlisted a wonderful Realtor named Dianne that referred John to Michael who
owned a local mortgage brokerage in Bozeman. Their relationship grew
quickly and lasted long after John closed on his new home. One evening
around a campfire over at a friend's house Michael and John got to talking about
the gift industry and how important it is in the Mortgage and Real Estate
Business. John, being in the gift business for over 20 years, saw an
opportunity and A Special Thanks was born.
John and Michael realize the importance of
giving a gift of thanks, especially when someone is buying a home. A
Special Thanks offers unique, high quality and non-consumable gifts, leaving
that special occasion in the memories of those who received them. The
Snowman Candle Set that Michael gave John and his family when they closed on
their home still goes up on the mantle every year and every time John looks at
them he remembers that special occasion.
